Bottle. Color: Clear dark brown, beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel and dark malt. Taste: Malty, dark malt, caramel notes, hints of roasted malt and almond. Light bitter hoppy background. Quite smooth, almost foamy background. Moderate to over moderate sweet, bit sugary and sticky. Quite nice Dunkler Bock.

Solid. Sweet. Malty.

Nice dark lager. It is clean and crisp. Pretty straightforward for the style, buy for an introduction to dunkles beer perhaps. Planwirtschaft dresden (3.5 oct 2018) More astringent and harsh than crisp and clean. (3.2 simmel bottle)

Aroma has nuts and roasted malt. Also some toffee and cola. Flavour has chocolate, roasted malt and nuts. A solid, chocolatey dunkler bock.

Bottle shared by Niklas. Dark brown with cream off white head. Caramel aroma and taste with some roast, dark fruits and brown sugar. Quite nice with a roasted turkey, but bland to drink by itself.

Fairly sweet. Lots of mocha, caramel, molasses and dark cherries in the mouth, but a bit too sweet for my liking, but really great depth.

Flasche aus einem Edeka-Markt in Ehrenfriedersdorf. - Mit 6,1 % Ethanol ist dies kein gewöhnliches Schwarzbier mehr, sondern ein Starkbier. - Rotgoldenes Kastanienbraun, klar; kurzlebiger Schaum. - In der Nase ein wenig matt-süßliche Fruchtigkeit und schwache, süßlich-käsige Noten von Hopfenextrakt. - Im Antrunk mildes Röstmalz mit plumper Karamelsüße und marmeladenartig-süßen Fruchtnoten. Durchschnittlich rezent, für ein Starkbier eher wäßrig. Im Abgang kommt ein wenig schweißfüßiger Hopfenextrakt ohne nennenswerte Bittere zum Vorschein, aber die fade Süße bleibt dominierend und hält sich bis in den unangenehm pappigen Nachtrunk. - Allzu simple, gefällig süße Brühe, der alles fehlt, was ein Schwarzbier auszeichnet, nämlich anständige Röstaromen und eine spürbare Portion Aromahopfen. Für ein Bockbier wiederum zu wäßrig und lasch im Geschmack. Könnte glatt als Malztrunk durchgehen, wäre da nicht der unsinnig hohe Alkoholgehalt. Enttäuschend. Kalt getrunken gerade noch genießbar.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, schokoladig, leicht würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, dunkle Früchte, leicht würzig.
