50 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours clear and golden brown with a lacing off-white head. Solid spiced and malt aroma. Sweet initial flavour with a nice caramel note. Light alcohol feel and light spice note to this. Medium dry bitterness with a discernible alcohol presence.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine malty aroma. Tastes strong, well balanced finish. Really good.

Test vom 20.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,11,11,9,9,11 - 10,30

Bottle: Chestnut amber coloured, smaller off-white foamy layer; solid sweetish- fruity (dried fruit, dark fruit) and malty nose with a tinge of molasses; sweetish - not cloying - flavour, medium bodied, soft MF, robust sweetish-fruity finish with an illusion of a lingual bitterness. A quite pleasant, well rounded Bock............

(bottle, smuggled by pivnizub) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized foamy beige head. Aromatic sweet toast-malty aroma, only slightly roasted, but honeyish fruity with caramel and a whiff of hops. Bitter flavour with sweetish edges, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with caramel and a touch of dark chocolate; medium-dry, malty and slightly bitter and hoppy finish. Pretty drinkable Schwarzbier-Bock.
