Crystal malt, amber malt, black malt and roast barley in generous quantities generate a deep black colour and flavours to match. Roast bitterness, coffee and liquorice notes combine in a velvety rich malt texture. A full and sweetish body is balanced by traditional Goldings hops.

500ml bottle, aged a year or two. Pours very dark brown with a big tan head, settling and lasting the duration. Dark fruits, berries, and roast malts on the nose. Taste has mainly dark fruits and berries, liquorice, roast malts, bitter finish. Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation. Great impy stout, I'd prefer mine with more roast than fruit/liquorice but this is solid nonetheless.

Bottle in Austria at a festival. Black pour with practically no foam. Nose: wheat makes this Russian Stout aroma round, nuts brandy, alcohol. Mouth: some dried fruit, feels like a quadrupel in the beginning. Ends frizzy with a decent alcohol warming note.

(Draught at Monterey Bar, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate, soy sauce and some ashes. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, espresso, liquorice, caramel and a slightly vinous finish with a balanced roasty bitterness. Full body, almost oily mouthfeel, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, warming and quite well balanced for its strength. Very nice.

A black beer, a head is very big and beige. Aroma has liquirice, salt liquirice and some chocolate. Taste is powerful, great salt liquirice, some dark fruitness and roastiness. Full bodied, not sticky, balanced carbonation. Not typical IS, whick have also other nuancees than the nomal coffee and roastiness. Strong salt liquirice and lots of flavours. Very tasteful.

Black colour. Smell of raisins, red wine. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, oak, cognac, faint of tar. Bitter and sweet. Flat carbon. Velvety palate. Very surprising in a positive way.

At a tasting, thanks Roei, small creamy head, opaque vert dark brown color, lots of aromatic coffee, with wood, shrubs, cinamon and dark bread in the back, roasted coffee flavor, some roasted malt and dark fruits, mellow sourness. Very nice to sip slowly, should continue to improve.
