The biggest Marble in the pack, this dark golden India pale ale is ‘Pint’ grown up, we are proud of its pronounced New Zealand hop character and smooth biscuit base offset by fruit aroma. This beer just keeps on giving.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Golden amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy citrus, bit of pine and bit of cat pee. Taste is quite bitter, biscuit malty with a hint of high alcohol candi sugar. Very bitter finish too. Medium bodied. Another Marble cracker.

2016 version at 5.9%. Orange with a tall white head. A bit of caramel and earthy hops over a crisp hop profile. Biscuit malts. A nice IPA but I fear it might be a touch old.

Golden color, white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma has light notes of resin hops, orange zest and peach. Flavor with a moderate bitterness, light caramel, peachy hints. Final with moderate bitterness. Creamy on palate.

on tap at Beer Dock, Crewe (also available at Nantwich branch) Pours a soft polished pine-wood gold -(virtually cler) with a generous white head. The initial taste is sharp - there plenty of hops in here, but they are perfectly balanced, with medium carbonation. Then the other flacours come through, orange peel, peanuts, soy sauce, grapefruit, pine resin. Finish is citrus with a long lingering aftertaste. May not be a classical IPA (too light for a start), but I just love it. Could go on drinking this forever.

Golden beer, white head, grapefruit in taste and smell but it's quite sour and sickly I'm the aftertaste. Not bad but a bit much for me.

Manchester beers tasting at Tokyo Midtown. Light orange-yellow pour. White foam. Nose feels tame, light grassy hops and light fruitiness, mellow. Taste more malt forward, green apples and rowans in taste, going to sour direction, that's how grapefruity it is. Citric finish. Pretty good but not on the level of these Cloudwaters we just had.
