The biggest Marble in the pack, this dark golden India pale ale is ‘Pint’ grown up, we are proud of its pronounced New Zealand hop character and smooth biscuit base offset by fruit aroma. This beer just keeps on giving.

Cask gravity at the 2014 GBBF. Clear bright golden coloured beer with a lasting sticky white head with good lace. Aroma is nice fresh lemon citrus, fresh hop. Flavour is clean malt, light toast, clean direct citrus hop. Palate is medium light, really good cask condition. Suberb beer. This should be champion beer of Britain.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Cloudy gold colour. Bubbly, thick, lasting, white head. Nice, sweet, lightly spicy maltiness. Light toffee. Ripe peach. Soft banana. Mild pithiness. Taste is light sweet. Light dry. Bitterness cuts through. Creamy palate. Finish is light, pithy bitter. Hint of fruit sweetness on the close. Not brash. Good stuff.

Light amber. Frothy head. Floral, honeyish, citra-like hops. Pears in syrup. Sweet, like lemon marmalade with a touch of bitterness but generally sugary character.

Coarse white head. Slightly hazy deep yellow body. Light floral grape and citrus aroma with Earl Grey notes. Dry-sweet grape, resin, and bergamot taste with dusty strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish-bitter floral dandelion aftertaste with grape, spice and wood notes. The finish is a bit harsh, but it’s still a great beer. (0.284l cask at 57 Thomas Street, Manchester.)

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours golden amber with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma is floral/herb. A clean aroma. suggests "bubble gum". Med body. Flavor matches aroma. Maybe with a tropical fruit touch. Sor of perfume backed by firm caramel. Drinks nicely.
