Bottle @ hurtigsmagning. Hazy orange with a big and lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 211112

On tap @ Marble Arch. Pours golden and has a very oily texture from appearance. There’s a nice head. The nose is rich and slightly honeyed before the hoppy citrus zing kicks in. The taste is more of the same really - you can get the basic malt structure and then the citrus sits on top of it. The palate is medium to full bodied with a very substantial texture and despite this the finish is clean though still considerably rich. Overall, a lovely beer which I’d actually say had more of the style of an American Strong Ale.

On cask @ Beauchief Hotel - pale golden body, took time to settle, but nice laced head. Big whiff of citrus, first bite of grapefruit, then a refreshing hoppy kick afterwards. Nice and smooth... and even better... IT WAS FREE!

Bottle from Beers Of Europe, King’s Lynn
Hazy amber color, with huge head. Nice hop aroma, fruity, pungent (Nelson Sauvin?). It has a high carbonation; correct body structure; some malt and toffee flavor, ending in caramel, with strong hopping; the hop carries some resins and fruits, citrus fruits and passion fruit, but not as much as the aroma suggests; quite strong bitterness, and long final.
It has the solidity of a classic English IPA, and some freshness from modernly hopped IPAs. Very good.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Alice. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Fruity, citrusy nose with a little yeast. Light body, excessive carbonation. Again slightly citrusy with a bitter finish. Not that sophisticated, and the excessive carbonation kinda ruins it. 030812
