2022 version. Pours clear yellow gold into tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Apple and oak aromas. Dry with tart apple and mild hay upfront turning to earthy oak in the medium length finish.

Crisp and fairly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a lighter orange glow and a thin, and very fast-dying off-white head that starts out at about two centimetres tall and fades to nothing. Aroma of very pungent soured and tart fruits, with some apples, pears, oak, foeders, berries and then a ton of the wild and bretty yeast - very nice and elegant throughout. Light-bodied; Sharp soured and tart apple and pear flavours dominate up front with a light dose of spices of allspice and canella with a touch of lighter and fresh coriander seed, but this really is about the tart fruit and the yeast - in a great way, this is elegant, effervescent and dry, but showing some subtle sweetness and a good deal of fruits and being ultra complex. Aftertaste is clean, very tart, but dry and yeastie with the spices showing through as well. Overall, a great and very enjoyable beer that hits all the right notes, as you'd expect, and reminds me of a very complex and dry gueuze, fresh off a long barrel aging and straight from Belgium, except this isn't that style and is from Vermont! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 02-December-2017 for US$5,99 sampled just over two years later at home in Washington on 15-December-2019.

Pint can, at the Beer Jerk Bunker bottle share, thanks to me, but actually thanks to mansquito for the trade. Pours gold. Apple, tart apple, lemon, citric acidity, clean tart apple candy stuff. Spritzy body. Very tasty.

Can shared in Hackney - many thanks to Bruce. Pours clear yellow with a slim, creamy white head. Nice aroma, lemon, wheat, hay, pale wood. Light sweet flavour with moderate acidity, lemony tartness, a little dried wheat bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, quenching, more lemony tartness. Very clean. Highly drinkable.

From my brother: pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrus and plenty of funk. Taste is sour, fruity, slight aftertaste. Not too sour. Pretty nice.
