Bottle from Beergium. Black pour with a deep tan head. Rich nose of dark roast coffee,burnt wood,honey,dark chocolate, treacle toffee,cocoa. Oooh that's nice! Warming taste of cappuccino, cocoa, honey,dark chocolate,coffee cake,Highland toffee. Fierce alcohol burn. Lovely!

This was the 2014 version Opened feb 2020 The head vanished a bit fast But the aroma was really nice Mellow fine carbonation level. Quite easy to drink Not to sweet either Lots of coffee in this one. Also roast and some chocolate Fine evening sipper [Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]

Bottle @ Dangerous Bottleshares Reunion tasting / Reset #1. Pours black with a medium brown head. Aromas of malt, vanilla, caramel, light roast, coffee. Taste has fudge, vanilla, malt, chocolate, coffee, roast, licorice, bitter.

Bit thin, no surprise after the age, but also had this after FO so not fair, still solid coffee chocolate sweetness but certainly aged.

Sampled at Churchkey's FiftyFifty event, pours a dark brown/black with a ring of soapy, khaki head. Nose has nice, dark roast coffee, malt, chocolate, nutty too. Flavor is OK, malt and nuts, booze, chocolate, caramel. Full bodied but dry. Very different.

Big bottle at home, from Biervana, Munich, 2016 vintage I think. Black of course. Aroma is quality coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, coffee, bitter hit, bitter dark chocolate, delicious and easy drinking, classy drink.
