From Beer Drop, no dating.
It pours black but not pitch black. I see reddish highlights. Head of foam is a finger, good retention, good lacing.
The smell is coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, dark chocolate, hint of smoke.
The taste is big coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of smoke, bitter overall.
Medium bodied, good carbonation.
Very good.

Draught @ Albion. Murky reddish brown with foamy tan head, faint roasted malt aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter roasted malt/coffee taste, smooth body, longish finish. Very smooth and mellow.

On tap at One Mile House, pours a deep dark amber-tinged brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and fairly restrained coffee notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of roasted malt upfront. The coffee is rather muted, as is the whole flavour profile. Rather underwhelming. This one doesn't do it for me.

Draft at Fool's Gold, 12/5/15. Dark brown-black color with a sheeting tan head and coating lace. Great looking beer. Coffee comes through bickering with a slight tartness. Lighter bodied. Smooth and very creamy. Great look and feel, but slightly disappointed by the flavor.

Tap at RnH, NYC. Dark brown color, small beige head. Strong coffeish, chocolaty aroma. Delicious! Light to medium-bodied. Flavor then is cld coffee and sweet aroma with light coffee tartness. Nose is great!

8oz pour at Torst. Pours a watery, deep brown with some ringing off white head. Nose has a lot of fresh, fragrant coffee, nutty too, soke brown sugar, hints of dried berries, toast. Flavor has a nice blend of sweet malts, brown sugar, hints of toffee, then high quality coffee. Not too dark. Dry finish.

Jimmy’s No. 43, NYC tap: Pours dark brown with a very cream, almost nitro looking, head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, both of the smoothest kind (not that rough bitter stuff here). Taste is smooth medium roast coffee coupled with milky chocolate. That said, the body is pretty light, and this makes for easy drinking.
