Ideal for contemplation and speculation, this is the liquid equivalent of the lotus position. Featuring freshly ground coffee, cacao nibs, and Madagascan Vanilla pods.
Brewed as an experiential beer with a time and place in mind for its enjoyment. Winter months are suggested, open fires are preferable and armchairs are close to compulsory!
We team up with Clifton Coffee in Bristol for the beans used in Wildebeest, trialing espresso shots and French press before we settling on whole beans. The cocoa nibs are Vhalrona which were recommended as the best by chocolatiers and the vanilla pods Madagascan.
It's a judicious selection of pale and dark malts adding to the decadence and making this beer like a beautifully rich dessert in a glass.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Cloudy black, stable, frothy, beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, coffee roast, mocha, vanilla bean, fudge, prune, date, coffee liqueur. Taste has sweet prune & date, sourish forest fruit over chocolatey & fudge-like maltiness, bit creamy. Earthy hoppy finish, lingering dark coffee & a dash of cream, chocolate, warming whisky-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, smooth, decently balanced.
