Bombini is our interpretation of this classic Belgian style. Locally sourced Scottish heather honey supports subtle mango and citrus notes on the palate, along with a touch of malty sweetness. The finish has a clean, refreshing bitterness for a weighty beer.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Lasting white head to a misty orange coloured body. Rings of lace down the glass. Moderate smell of farmyard, malt-fruity. Yeasty fruitiness to the taste character, some hints of ripe orange and mild honey sweetness. Honeyed fruity endnotes. Fine depth. Quite alright. (Bergstua, Malangen 28.10.2020).

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Clear amber with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of mashed red apple, raisin, bread, ripe pear, sugar, cake, strawberry, honey. Taste is medium fruity sweet, lots of ripe red apple & pear with a sourish lemony-wheaty edge; sweet cherry, strawberry & larded with honey. Dryish, tart, herbal hoppy finish, sugared white tea-like effect, lingering red apple & honey. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Feels too artifical.

On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - golden amber with decent lacing. Nose - honey with light resin too. Taste - honey and drying resin confirmed. Palate - light to medium bodied a sweetish middle but long dry finish. Overall - the hop resin and yeast stops the honey making it too sweet. Good.

330ml bottle from Lidl festival. Hazy gold with a small bubbly white head. Sweet floral honey aroma, flavour is similar. Honey isn't always my favourite flavour but the amount is pretty much spot on here
