Keg at a bar on Maltby Street, 17/06/17. Amber to copper pour with a well presented light beige cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, orange peel, toasted bread. Taste comprises caramel shortbread, biscuit, light spice, candied oeange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with earthy hop bitterness. Fine for the style.

Keg on Maltby Street. Pours hazy reddish gold with a rich, creamy off-white head. The aroma holds ripening citrus, pine, bread. Medium sweet flavour with hearty bready malt character, moderate piney bitterness, bready malts, ripening citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some piney resin, jammy citrus, more pine, bread. Enjoyable, but not exceptional.

Bottle in the beer garden at We Brought Beer, CJ. Intriguing willow-the-whisp hay/floral aroma. Hazy amber. Thin white head. Hippy, with a caramel edge.spices appear in the finish. However it was straight out if the fridge which would not have benefited it. Light bodied. Slick. Carbonation more prominent in to the dry finish. Enjoyable. Doesn’t score maximum points but would have again and less cold!
