DESCRIPTION

Ramblers is our first collab with DEYA, and what a better way to kick it off with a DIPA. This DIPA is heavy on the oats and lactose. Robust body, thick and juicy. At 8% it definitely going to make you ramble on.

Artwork: Theo & Gareth, founders of DEYA. They love rambling around their local countryside hills.

Bottled. Hay orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, grass and some mild toffee tones. Flavour is floral, some toffeeish tones, tropical fruits, mild zest and some nectary tones. Nice bitterness bite in the finish.

Hop Locker 1. Keg. Cloudy amber - orange beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts bring sweetish caramel and cream. Pine and ripe tropical fruits. Smooth dry finish. Quite sweet but pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Pours turbid yellow with a white head. Fresh aroma with loads of herbs, grass and hay. Tropical fruity with mango, passion fruit, lychee. Light wood. Very lightly bitter taste with loads of tropical fruit. Super juicy.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky bronze body with a thick off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma of bread, melon and dried grass. Flavour of orange, cereal and peach with a nice peppery finish. Full body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A well balanced DIPA with a wonderful, thick mouthfeel.

330 mml bottle. Tasted on the 30/07/2017 at home. Hazy orange colour with a small to medium white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, malts, citrus and grass. Taste is sweet malts, floral hops, grass and juicy fruits. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable. Next one please!

330ml bottle from Kihoskh. Bottled 21.06.17. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of chewy and juicy tropical fruits, caramely malts, pine, citrus and grass. Taste is sweetish, juicy fruity and chewy caramely with some pine, citrus, tropical notes and hints of grass. Finish is chewy malty, caramely and tropical fruity with some grass and citrus. Sweet and chewy juicy.
