Draft sampled at the post GABF day 2 Bud Light tasting. Pours a pale pointless golden with a white head, aroma of grain and corn. Flavour really has nothing to it, it’s not bad, it just doesn’t exist.

330ml bottle - UK 3.8% version - enough of all the beer snobbery on this one. It is no better or worse than the many imitators on the global market. Yes, it looks like Sunday morning piss, it tastes sweet and fizzy, but so do so many other Pale Lagers. It tastes a bit plastic, but that is all. Out of 828 ratings, this is in my top 800.

Can. Faint sweet corn malt aroma. Clear yellow gold with a moderate white head. Light sweet corn malt flavor. Light watery body, moderate carbonation. It is what it is - light.

Drank this over the holidays
It actually sucked more than I remember, can’t believe I used to like this crap. I guess that’s why my goto beer was Miller Lite back in the day. But, I’m sure that also tastes like crap in a can also
Sweet corn, grainy, honey and pukey.

Rating this beer to style, not as what I would prefer to drink. Aroma has a pleasant light malt and corn profile. No esters, sulphur, diacetyl or metallic notes. No hop aroma either. Appearance is a perfectly clear pale yellow with just a hint of yellow gold. Flavor has some light sweetness with faint malt and corn notes. No hop flavor, but there is a touch of bitterness to balance the sweetness. Mouthfeel is thin and crisp - to style. No alcohol warmth from this beer and no astringency. This is clearly a fresh sample with no skunking. An easy to drink, but not complex beer. I prefer to drink beers with more complexity and flavor, but this beer shouldn’t be knocked purely for its style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a medium golden color with a smallish white head that dissipates rather quickly but never disappears. Smells of light sweet bready malt with a touch of apple and honey and maybe some floral hops. The flavor is sweet grainy with pomme fruits and a hint of bread and hops. Light body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet watery mouthfeel. Well it could work on a hot summer day, but there is so little flavor in here it’s hard for me to want to.
