The Crusader is our American style Pale Ale with a Scottish twist. The palate is citrussy with a fruity, dry finish. The nose has fresh notes of citrus, especially lemon and apple.

Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. It pours clear deep gold with a decent white head. The aroma is toasted oats, white bread, cereal, stone fruits, orange marmalade and floral notes. The taste is crisp, pretty clean, firmly bitter, floral, stone fruits, orange peel, floury white bread, wheetabix and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth to it, but it quenches thy thirst. Not bad at all.
