Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, grasig, getreidig. Geschmack leicht herb, getreidig, minimal würzig.

Bottle. Pours dirty gold with white head. Nose and taste of pear, yeast, toasted bread, hay, malt and light butter. A touch soapy. Lighter bodied.

33cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BB 07.05.14. Hazy golden, smooth, creamy white head. Yeasty, grainy, dusty aroma. Grainy, light bready flavors. Light bitter, malty finish. Very refreshing. Solid zwickl.

Tap at Maxs. Unfiltered orange-yellow. Respectable white head. Yeasty lager with a lemony edge. Delicate and doughy. Hyper Euro, sessionable, delicate. Bready, mellow subdued hops. A rare treat, very authentic.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, fine turbid. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry. Fine fruity notes of peach and lemon. Modest sourish. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Draft at Snallygaster Beer Fest in Washington DC. Poured a golden color with a small, solid white head. Aroma was sweet malts, crisp grassy notes, some hops. Flavor was sweet malts, grassy hop notes, some raw grain notes in there. Served pretty cold, so it was refreshing at the very least.

Bottle from Paula. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Light bready aroma with a hint of citrus. Med body with frothy carb. It’s lightly bready with some bitter - certainly more bitter than not. The bitter increases with time.

Churchkey, DC tap ($7): Pours a super hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma of citrus, specific kinds of apples, and a light touch of hops. Taste is kind of like a very fruity pilsener. Slightly sweet. Hops are rather on the subdued side of things. I think it is very well-balanced and contrary to some previous reviewers, I thought that it wasn’t watery in the least. A plenty unique beer deserving some recognition.
