Bottle. Xmas gift from the missus. Clear amber. Pale tan foam. Ginger biscuit. Cracknel. Prune. Cake mix. Taste is sweet and figgy. Good deal of dry and bitter. Super smooth throughout. Fruity figgy plummy finish. Tasty easy drinking big hitter. If that’s a thing.

Bottle. A- Malt, cherry, dark fruit cake, subtle maple. A- Brown color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Cherry, oak, malt, brown sugar, mild toffee. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Wow, almost didn't pick this up but now wish I'd have gotten more. A new favorite bock for sure. Lots of dark fruit cake and malt. Tasty stuff.

Bottles from Great Grog. Clear deep amber body with a beige head that. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toffee apple and maple syrup. Flavour of honey, burnt caramel and raisin. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is sweet without being cloying. It’s delicious.

500 ml bottle. Clear red brown with a small head. Raisins and other dried fruits, wort, caramel, rye, rum, iron, dark bread, lemon, candy sugar. Lots of malty caramely sweetness paired with a good dry zesty metallic hoppy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, malty fruity hoppy zesty bittersweet finish. It's a pretty good Doppelbock, very complex, malt-forward with loads of dried fruits and respective sweetness but with a good dry hoppy bitter backbone.

Bottle pours out amber brown color topped with a small head. Nose is sweet malts some pitfruit and spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts light pitfruit and grain.

Bottle, thanks Fin! Chestnut, tanned cream. Freshly ground roast-malt aroma, dark chocolate, raisins and caramel. Full body, sweet chocolate sirup, coffee liquor, raisins and butter caramel. Nice depth balanced by a proper bitter backstop.

Bottle at home picked up at Kaufland, Vilshofen an der Donau and consumed at home sat outside in glorious sunshine 🌞, listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music, had homemade Spätzle for tea. Pours chestnut brown, good clarity, off white head, looks great glinting in the sunshine. Elements of toffee and a little praline, of course it's sweet, malty and carries a little bit of oomph. Some burnt sugar, nice beer.
