Draught at Bootleggers Craft Beer Bar, Cph. Dark amber colour with a reddish tinge. Thin lightly tanned head. Sweet roasted aroma with coffee, caramel malts, chocolate, grapefruit and mango. Taste is bitter roasted. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with roasted malts and citrus fruits. Fine, smooth B-IPA.

0,33 flaske fra Kihoskh, delt med Steven på hytta okt-17: brunsvart med fint storboblet kniplingskum. Nydelig aroma med furunål, tropiske frukter, kvalitetssjokolade og mørke bær. Saftig og rik smak med samme elementer (pluss mørke karameller) uten å bli overlesset eller ubalansert. Fin munnfølelse og myk bitterhet i avslutningen. Bærsaftighet helt til slutt. Farlig lettdrikkelig.

L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di colore scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è moderato. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Il finale è secco e pulito. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato arrivano sentori di caramello, miele, frutta secca e luppolo.

Tap. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, nutty, grassy. Taste is fruity, grassy hops, chocolate, brown malts. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Ok.

On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of resiny chocolate. Flavors follow same with a subtle grassiness plus sugary notes. Pretty subtle and mellow overall. Sugary resin. Peanuts over power it.

Quite bitter and somewhat roasty. Very dark red in colour. A bit astringent, just decently made. Hoppy Days Amsterdam. (3.3 jan 2017) Tried again dopeys elixer may 2021. It’s balanced but a bit muddy, I’ll upgrade it, but it’s just a hoppy dark ale that isn’t so clean.

Sampled from tap at ’Craft & Draft’. Clear, very dark red with a light brown head. Sweetish, roasty and slightly resiny aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee, mango and pine. Sweetish, fruity-resiny and moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, some coffee, hazelnut, mango and pine, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nice!

0,33l bottle at Da Aldo Venezia. BB 01/09/2016. almost black colour, small tan head. smells grapefruit, herbal, lemon grass, mango, light licorice. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, grapefruit, lemon grass, light herbs, licorice, light mango, lightly leathery. finishes lightly bitter and nicely creamy with notes of grapefruit and lemon grass. quite nice one, very nice balance and rather limited bitterness.
