Draught @ Alus Celle Aroma has sweet malt and tobacco. Flavour has green apples, some sweet malt, cocoa. Perhaps a bit unclean tap? I might have been the first to drink from it today.

Pint at Max's pours a creamy black with some creamy beige head. Nose has mild, malt and cocoa and some yeast. Flavor is better, malty, milk chocolate, some molasses and licorice. Soft and pillowy finish.

On-tap pint with my Brunch Burger at Salt Creek Grill, Dana Point, Orange County California on 22nd Dec 2019. Black bodied, beige/tanned head that lasted and gave of some impressive lacing. Malty and semi-sweet with chocolate, coffee and toffee like aromas and flavours. Nice and easy drinking Stout with no unpleasant surprises.

Sample at the brewery. Dark brown no head, medium body. Roasted grain aroma, mild chocolate flavor with coffee underneath. Finish has more hops than malt to it.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark chocolate, roast, raisin. Medium mouthfeel with roasted malt, chocolate, sweet finish. Good.

Bomber at Imazato. Black with a low lacy head. Shiny. Dry chocolate, light coffee, tart fruit in the nose, with a bit of umami soy. Light and thin, with a touch of pickles. Decent but not wholly impressive.
