Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

Tasting at Matt’s, release #79, 6.7%
Hazy copper to amber color.Biscuity caramel tones, mild residual sweetness, resiny and piney hopping, with orange pel, and some astringency in the final.
Somewhere between APA and old style IPA, quite good.

Hazy light amber. No head. This isn’t bad - toasty, light orangey hop notes. A nice balanced amber, orangey hops come through. It’s basic, but well-made.

22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque dark amber orange brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, toasted caramel and some old, stale bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, resinous hops, and again the stale bready notes. Probably not fresh, but still pleasant with the hop resins and caramel. Wish this were fresher, so I'll be generous with my rating. Decent.

Draft pour pint at The Collective, as part of the Epic brewers night. Cloudy golden pour with a piney hop aroma. Thick body with pine, and grassy hops and a subtle sweetness in the finish. Overall a pretty good pale.
