On tap at Craft Covent Garden. Hazy orange gold colour not many white bubbles. Nelson Sauvin gooseberry aroma. Ok in mouth. Again I much prefer my Kernel beers in the bottle than on tap. Good intensity of flavours. Just something missing from that Kernel awesomeness. On tap at The Berry Walmer. Ot had settled down from before when I had it in London I thought it was a little muddy. This is crisp clear fruity. Nelson shines with some tropical fruit. Grapefruit. Just perfectly balanced and wonderful. A little light maybe but so so drinkable.

Bottled. A murky yellow beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, and hops, leading to a lightly tart finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with some tiny floating impurities and a white head. Fruity nose, quite some yeast. Medium body, heavy yeast and some citrusy hops. Dry finish. One of those Kernels with quite a sediment, I got some fibers in my drink! 150812

Bottle from Oddbins, London Bridge. It pours clear golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is white grape, grapefruit, orange, tangerine and pine. The taste is pine, resin, white grape, tangerine, citrus pith and grapefruit, with a bitter-citrus finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Another flavoursome APA from Kernel.

Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry and crisp palate. Nelson skunkyness pretty much dominates the start with some bitter starfruit - grapefruit in the mid. A little fresh Simcoe orange comes through in the semi dry finish along with creamy malt. Some bitter linger. Fully flavoured APA - nice.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours lightly hazy gold with a strong, frothy white head. Some very crisp pine and dry, pithy citrus in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor, some dry wood, light lemon rind and other dried out citrus fruits, modest toasty straw. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry and lightly sticky finish, lovely light pine notes, faint dirt, light dry wood, mild citrus. One of the best APAs I can recall from The Kernel. To me it has a bit more hop bite than the others. Excellent in pretty much every way.
