Cask at the Crown Inn, Beeston. Golden and clear with a decent white head. Grapefruit and mango in the aroma with some bready malt and butter. Bittersweet taste with slight acrid flavours in the finish. Light to medium body. Decent enough but not all that exciting, a bit dull by Shiny's standards.

Cask @ The Wellington, Birmingham. Pours a misty gold, white head. Aroma is citrus with some faint tropical hints. Taste similarly crisp, moderately bitter with some pleasant fruity moments. Nice refresher.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head. Has an easy-drinking texture, although an acute bitter-sweetness in its taste.

Cask half-pint at the New Inn, Newport Shropshire on 1st April 2017: sat in the sunshine during their first ever beer festival. Golden amber pour, white topping. Dank hop aroma and taste, fairly bitter throughout: decent.

On tap from Beer Metropolis, Shiny Shop/Tap & Brewery,, Derbyshire, Saturday 10th September 2016 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Warm gold actually on second thoughts it’s more light amber in colour with a white head. A strange combination of citrus and a light but ever present chewy caramelness are the standout flavours. Fruity with a reasonable crisp bite, very popular beer both here and at The Furnace I noted, I had two of these, it’s pretty good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and crispy. Dry malts. Mild seltzer. Mellow orange hops. Crisp dry finish. Okay.
