750 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 9.3%. BB date 01/06/2014, Deep brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts and coffee, hints of chocolate and some fruity hops. Malty flavour with strong notes of coffee, a bit too much coffee for me. Some acidity, again hints of fruity hops.

Bottle, 2013 :(. Pours hazy hazel, medium creamy beige head, great lacing. Aroma is coffee, mocha. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, loads of coffee, faint hint of tartness. Medium body. Kinda shocked how well this one held up.

(Bottle) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of fresh coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, brown bread, hints of smoke and tar. Malty, slightly smoky taste with lots of coffee, dark bread, liquorice, chocolate, some orange peel and a gentle, slightly earthy, bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting, with lots of fresh coffee and alcohol well hidden. Very nice.

Uneccessary bomber pop late night from Greg w stl. Murky brown pour fine frothy beige head. Nose is fine coffee and dark fruits. First glass tasted kinda weird of off fruit and coffee. Subsequent glasses were more pleasant of better coffee, plums, light hops, some grains. Smooth enough. All righty then.

Hazy amber color with a fine tan head. Looks nice. Ok lacing. Nice aroma for coffee lovers also. I quess this beer is nothing worth trying for those who do not like coffee. Lovely smooth coffee and nutty aroma. Solid body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Balanced and nice. Soft carbonation. Lots off coffee in the flavor as well. What a surprise. Balanced with some caramel and mild nutty. Maybe a bit one dimensional. But the caramel touch gave it something extra. Lovely dessert sipper.
