'Feierabend' is a German phrase meaning 'to celebrate the evening and the successful end of a working day'. This dry pilsner is the perfect 'clocking-off' pint with its subtle fruitiness and hints of white wine.

Tap at West. Golden, looks undercarbonated, offwhite lace. Lightly moppy entry, heavy on the bittering hops, medium light dry metallic mouthfeel. Allright, balance not quite there.

Bottle picked up at Aldi Inverurie. It pours crystal clear pale bright gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh and grassy, herbal, hay, biscuit malt, touch of spice, grain and a hint of green fruits. The taste is initially dry with a good hit of lingering bitterness, grassy, herbal, spicy, straw, biscuit malt, floral vibes, grain and a touch of green fruit. Average body be and moderate, prickly carbonation. Nice bitterness to it. Fairly simple, but moreish and satisfying.

330ml bottle. Pale gold with a foamy white head. Grassy aroma, taste is light, crisp, clean, exactly what you'd expect of a pils. Job done

it is.... a Pils. I don't really know what else to say. You want a Pils? This is a Pils. Job done. It's not a great one to my taste but then these aren't really my cup of tea so what do I know. It's crisp and clean and would probably hit the mark on a nice hot day. It's fine.

On tap at West Brewery Tap, Sunday 11th February 2018 in the company of Nick and Anna. Pours light straw coloured with a filmy white head. A little bit of nothingness on the nose. It's a bit too simplistic, however it tastes like a Pils so it's correct I guess. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
