2007 bottle. Pours with a large off-white head covering a murky dark brown body with small particles. Good lacing too. Aroma of raspberries, sugar, light tartness and grape skinss. Taste of raspberry, light tartness, and grape juice. Lots of soft little bubbles. Dry mouthfeel

Bottle @ home. Murky dark pinkish purple colour, thin disappearing head. Musty aroma of raspberries and some sourness. Taste is raspberries, not sweet, a bit sour, a bit cardboard. Mouthfeel is prickly and dry. Not my style.

Bottle - 2005 vintage from cork. Pours a deep brown with normal highlights around the edges and a fizzy head that dies down quickly. Aromas are funky tartness at first and then blossom into a raspberry presence. Flavor is wonderful, but I would like the sourness to be a little more pronounced as it gets overwhelmed by a sweet raspberry finish. Things start off well... initial flavors are kind of a sour raspberry (almost cranberry) initially, and this gives way to a bit of a tart funkiness and then finishes with sweet (borderline syrupy) raspberry. Nice on a hot summer day.

Bottle at home, picked this up from Dranken Geers, near Gent, Belgium 03-03-08 Syrupy raspberry notes also a faintly plastic smell, quite strange but in no way did I find this off-putting. The colour was brown with hints of red and an off white head sitting atop. Fruity sweet and sourness and some syrupy sweetness are there but the raspberries bounce through and make this a very drinkable beer, sort of reminds me of a raspberry meringue.

On tap at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore during Belgian fest. Got this one for the girlfriend but it was surprisingly balanced. Looks, tastes and smells like raspberries. Slight malt offsets the sweet fruit flavor. Finish keeps the fruity flavor in the mouth. More balanced than other lambics you might have had.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, sour, moderate to light heavy raspberry, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light sour with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110208)

Bottle in Pikkulintu, Helsinki- Dark red in colour with a lovely raspberry aroma. Raspberry is also strongly present in the taste which has a good sweet and sour balance. Very nice although it would be interesting to see how much of this is actually natural raspberry!

Deep brick red and nearly no head. Sour aroma. Berries, sugary fruits, champagne, and earthy. Very tasty, though the body is a bit thin. The sweet berries strike first followed by some light tart notes. Finishes like champagne, I just wish it lingered a little longer. Crisp and refreshing; I could drink this all night.
