Award winning Pure Gold is a refreshing, crisp and zesty golden ale, inspired by our noisy farmyard rooster. Wired up a little differently, he crows at Sunset rather than Sunrise which signals the end of another great day brewing and time for a well earnt beer.

Third, cask at Purecraft Bar and Kitchen. Clear pale golden body, clingy lacing, dissipating white head. Peachy aroma. Fruity flavours of lemon and peaches. Dry bitter ending, short-lived. Session qualities. (Birmingham 06.07.2018).

On cask at PureCraft, pours a hazy golden with a large white head. Nose brings out subtle English hops and soft bready malt base. Flavour is gentle and smooth, with bready malt and subtle English floral hopping. Clean and easy, but nothing special.

Handpull cask at the Castle, Cambridge. Mid- to dark golden and clear with a big loose white head. Nice smell: orange juice, pineapple and a bit of mango. Fresh sweet taste which is dominated by hop but which also has ad instinct malt base. Long clean finish with more mango in the aftertaste.a lovely little golden ale with top class balance.
