Bottle. Pours pitch black with a large creamy brown head. Aromas of malt, caramel, toffee, bitter roasty notes, licorice. Taste is bitter, ashy, caramel, malty, licorice, dry finish.

Bottle. Thanks Jon! Roast, bit meaty, coffee, chocolate. Taste is good, roast, bit earthy, chocolate. Little bitterness at finish. Opague. Roast and licorice in the aroma. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Creamy, malty flavor with roast, coffee and licorice, especially in the aftertaste. Well made.

Pours black and oily with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste has dark roasted notes with light hints of licorice. Palate has nutty notes layered on top of the roasted malt. Pretty good.
