Light golden pour, big rocky white head.
Very citrucy aroma, loads of gapefruit, and some grass. The malts are dry any biscuity. Good mouthfeel, medium carb. Finish is dry, and a medium bitterness leave a great hop bite. Much better than the previous version.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona e persistente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo e ananas.

Pours a clear yellow/golden with a white head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus fruits, grapefruit. Not as bitter as you’ve come to expect from the style. Quite fond of this one, nice and easy to drink IPA. Over the years this become a bit of a middle of the road IPA to my tastebuds.

Feinporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, in der Nase und im Geschmack ein sehr stimmiges und gefälliges IPA. Obstsalat mit Dominanz von Grapefruit und Mango, leicht hefig-sahnige Aromen, schön integrierte aber moderate Bittere, leicht malzig-würzig, relativ trocken aber mit einer ganz leichte Süße. Kein besonderes, aber immer noch ein gutes IPA.

Аромат не сильный и не мощный, немного сухого американского хмеля, елки, совсем немного фруктового оттенка. Пены практически нету, цвет темно оранжевый. Вкус в меру горький, весьма сильно по началу отдает апельсином и грейпфрутом. Далее идет елочная горечь, но не сильная и быстрая. Послевкусие очень пустоватое, преимущественно солодовое. В целом культовая ипа оказалась не культовая для меня по вкусу.

15/8/2024. Draft at The Windmill, Stansted Airport. Pours clear golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is orange, peachy, mango, grass, light piney edge. Sweet tropical taste, quite mild bitterness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Nice aroma but a bit meh and not worth the £7.05 but it was the only thing I’d not rated (the Windmill is a lot more mainstream on its beers than it used to be).
