Bottle 66 cl. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a dense shaving foam style white and lacing head. Very perfumy hoppy nose. Medium body with some fruits but otherwise completely dominated by a solid dose of high alpha aroma hops ading pine and grapefruit and leaving a massive bitterness. Delicious. 110909

Draught at Ølbaren
Red-amber color; big creamy head, nice lace. Huge hoppy aroma, American, fruity (mango, oranges), pure, like the old days; light sweat. Medium body strength, the caramel flavor is on the dry side, but with light residual sugars; the hops have oil and resins, less fruity character than the aroma, but very powerful. The final is not sweet enough for me, surely very bitter, getting drier. Oldschool hop juice, always pleasant.

66cl botle from ølbutikken. sampled on the terrace at faliraki, rhodos, greece. haz orange, small yellow head. aroma is flowery, dry and faint bitter hoppy, strong hoppy aroma, reminds me of the best ipa’s and barley wines ive had. bottle version seems to be better reg. aroma than draft. flavor is dry hoppy, sweet malty, but hops dominate, hops character is sawdust, pine, faint grapefruit, faint flowery note. rye adds some depth and sweetness to the malty flavor.

Medium white head. Brown body. Sharp catty citric hop aroma with lemony notes. (Simcoe?) Sweet-bitter lemony catty fruity taste with bergamot notes. Full-to-mid body. Dry-bitter sharpish bergamot oil aftertaste. Very clear and sharp. Excellent! (0.75l bottle from hcalsos.)

Bottled (Beer Hunters, BB 09/2010). Clear amber color, small off-white head, some lace. Strong hoppy nose: resin, trpopical fruits, pine, at least Nelson Sauvin in it? Medium-bodied. Bitter, ryeish-bready hoppy flavor. Nicely balanced brew, especially if you like hops!

MY DANISH RATING # 1000. Tap @ Carlsens Kvarter. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose has a massive amount of hops. Lots of pine and peach. Taste is hoppy as well but some rye and malts pops up. Very crisp and also quite extreme. One dimensional and perhaps a bit out of balance - but pretty damm tasty. Crisp and smooth. Long bitter dry end. Nice.
