Masses of Juniper berries, with a selection of other traditional gin botanicals, provide a huge fruity, resinous and piney aroma to this internationally hopped beer.

Can at Craft CG - shared by dirty D-Bag Dan. It pours dirty blonde with suspended particles and medium white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, peppery juniper, orange sponge cake, candied fruits and herbal accents. The taste is sweet, sticky, chewy, hay, spice, grass, herbal, juniper and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I don't really sure that this all comes together in a cohesive manner. Meh.

Can split at CBC tasting, thanks to the Daniel, 16/07/18. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is tarte citric peel, spruce, herbal notes, pissy, grains, botanics. Taste comprises bitter orange, gin twang, lemon rind, grass, citric tinged straw, herbal bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not for me ... an IPA should be clean.

Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light clean pale malts bring reasonable sweetness. Nice combo of Juniper and hops. Light piney hop and light spicy juniper. Where they intersect, a pleasant lime and lemon streak. Smooth piney juiper finish leaves a lightly bitter juniper linger. Nicely done, interesting and crushable.

440ml can. Clear amber colour but with a lot of sediment floating around, small white head dissipating quickly. Aroma is pretty much juniper and nothing else, floral. Taste is dominated by juniper, floral, herbal, some orange. Medium body, soft carbonation. Ok but not really doing it for me, my least favourite so far from these guys.

Can via Beer Metropolis, Little Eaton, Derbyshire, consumed at home Sunday 25th February 2018 whilst cooking a cheesy chicken bake with new potatoes. Pours like a rather disastrous snowstorm, really messy, murky lots and lots of sediment. I get the Juniper also some perfumey orange, there is a sweetness, fruity but also with a middling bitterness. Ok but not as good as the last beer I had from these chaps. A6 A2 T7 P4 Ov13 3.2
