Vertical with 2009-2013 inclusive versions thanks to Frank, Ben & Catherine, Misty & Jason plus Mini & Bird. Some better than others with the 2011 the best.. Dark, pours like treacle with a tan head. Aromas of vanilla, liquorice and cocao. Taste is more complex with chocolate, coffee, vanilla. A definite treat to try them all together and great beer!

Bottle. A- Dark molasses, chocolate, subtle coffee, mild roastiness. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Subtle oak, subtle bourbon, molasses, chocolate. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- 2014 Vintage. What a beer for my first of 2016. No particular flavor stood out in this beer. In fact, it was hard to take notes because it was so well balanced. This was a great beer that most definitely lives up to the hype.
