Handpull cask at the brewery tap. Dark brown with a fair bit of translucency. Smells of slate, liquorice, grass, yeast extract. Bittersweet taste with a noticeable Guinness-like sourness to the finish. Little bit of blackberry at the end. Medium body, no carbonation. It's decent and worth trying but a little bit odd.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Deep black body, thick lacing off-white head. Nose is dusty coal, coffee grinds, dark chocolate. Taste is chocolate again, ashes, dusty again. Decent and warming.
