Cheap can from kroger. Pour is big and black, large and in charge. Fast fading choco moose head. Nose is a sweeter roasted thing. First taste is no doubt sweet, but its not as cloying as most pastry stouts. There is more of a roasted stout substrate background in this compared to other pastry bombs. This also has a fine level of soft carbonation that I'm diggen. Some dark chocolate in there. I like this stuff doesn't get cloying, even to the finish. Not bad but not as good as Penn's Sarris Peanut Butter or Croaker's Dismembered Dough Boy. Probably more in like with Cobblehaus Grandma's Special K and Butler's Cold Dark Heart.

Can split at RB Best Hotel Lobby Share, post festival, 31/01/16. Mahogany brown pour topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is light charr, toffee, cocoa powder, raisins. Taste comprises toffee fudge, earthy dark fruits, chocolate raisins, light roast malt. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, drying close. So so ... comes up pretty short for 7.2% in terms of depth and flavor!
