Bottle @ home shared by kermis. Dark brown color with a nice deep dark red glare coming through. Actually when held into the light it’s dark red-brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, soft malt sweet-bitter, slightly earthy, a hint of dark caramel notes and slightly malt bitter in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottle, 4.8%. Good roast barley aroma, hint of coffee. Clear very dark brown colour. Small stable frothy off-white head. The flavour is nicely roasted with toasted rye bread notes, hint of dark caramel, ashes, a little coffee in the finish. Good barley bitterness, but not too strong. Well-balanced and good.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours clear dark copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of malt and yeast and touches of hops. Bitter, roasty flavour with malty and estery notes and hoppy touches. Hints of caramel and coffee. Roasty and estery aftertaste. A trifle watery but rather nice.
