2016 catch up - Bottle at home - It was a good, but very bitter lager. The lager flavours were all there and there was a backbone of malt, but the hops dominated. It was a good and well made beer, but not necessarily one that I would like to buy, or drink, again.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of bread crust, yeasts, tangerine, grapefruit. Flavour is well balanced, light malt profile with a good bitter end. Light body, medium carbonation. Nice one!

Bottle at home, picked up from cotteridge wines. Aroma is tangy apple, feresh cereal grains, sharp lemon , hay, and a hint of smoke. Light hazed bright golden yellow coloured pour with a steadfast frothy white head. Flavour is composed of fresh cereal grains, pils, damp hay, tangy lemon, slightly herbal hop character and background apple notes. Palate is semi sweet, semi sweet, highish, soft frothy carbonaiton. Assertive bitterness. Interesting lager.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting cream head. its a decent if slightly perfumed hoppy lager. Rather a tasty highly hopped lager. Bitter finish. A little unbalanced as much as maybe too hoppy. Pretty decent.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, decently bitter. Not a huge boost of flavors but a nice crisp refreshing lager.

10th February 2016
Bright clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Slightly bready pale malts. A smooth floralness getting mildly bitter. A bare whisper of hoppy fruits. Light semi dry finish shows mild lime. Mellow bitter linger. Not bad at all.
