On tap at the brewpub. Klare dunkel orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch nach kräftigem dunklem Malz, rote Früchte. Geschmack nach roten Früchten, kräftig malzig, Karamell, kräftiger Körper.

Bottle @ home shared by kermis. Clear deep dark red to dark amber color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, some caramel, lightly dark fruits. Taste malts, dried fruit, caramel, raisins, sweetish and lightly a hint of alcohol and alcohol bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle shared. Clear amber brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, dough, ripe fruits, light vegetal notes and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a medium thick texture, alcohol warmth and soft carbonation. [21-08-2016]

Dunkler, malzig hopfiger Antrunk. Stark würziger, holzig herber Mittelteil, süß schokoladig. Deutliche Alkoholnoten, dennoch vergleichsweise süffig. Langer Nachhall. 10/11/11/11/10/11

Bottle, 8.1%. Mild malt syrup aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour with a red shine. Big stable frothy tan head. The flavour starts off a little malty and quite fruity. Later comes a distinct bitterness and a slight hop bite. On the fruity and bitter side for a Doppelbock, but not bad.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with shades of ruby and stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops and caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, complemented by bitter notes of hops,mroast and alcohol. Bitter aftertaste with estery and caramellish notes. Not bad but the alcohol bitterness is a little disturbing. My Schleswig-Holstein rating #100 :-)

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Rasin notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
