Bottle 6th DRG. My thanks go out to jbrus who was willing to share this very special German beer with us and to Yogi_Beera who provided jbrus this bottle. Smells like malted milk. Very harsh hopbitter flavor with loads and loads of roasted malt. I can’t believe this beer is only 5% and brewed in Germany! Hints of raspberry. Camilla, says Savad, and he knows what he is talking about. Very long harsh but milky aftertaste. Anis. Recommended to anyone that likes extreme flavors.

0,5 l bottle from Kiste 107, Nienburg. A lot of pressure in the bottle. Pours out black with a more than two finger creamy beige head. Smells malty with some fruity background. Taste starts strong dark roasted malty, less fruity. Increasing dry, shy hop in the second row. Log lasting aftertaste, mid bitterness. Heavy stuff.

Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly earthy and lightly iron. Taste malts, some roast, iron, malt bitter. Decent body, soft carbonation. Hmm ok beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of roast, light burnt notes, toffee and chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with a strange iron note spoiling the finish and soft carbonation. [21-08-2016]
