22 oz bomber poured into tulip glass from brewery. Aroma is malt backbone with mild tart yeast and fruity esters dominated by pineapple like a polynesian drink. Appearance is slighlty hazy, beautiful golden orange with attractive sparkle, three finger-width off-white head that dissipates to 1/2 in short order and nice lacing. Taste is mix of fruity sweetness with tart yeastiness but is muted a bit by the carbonation. Palate is light bodied with thin, foamy texture with fizzy carbonation and abrupt, crisp, dry finish. Overall, pretty true to style

Pour is a hazy straw with a ginormous white head. Aroma is a perfumey hop and a nice creamy yeast with plenty of farmhouse funk. I also get a bit of hefe banana and clove. Flavor is spicy and peppery with a nice green hop, what ever yeast they used in this was spon on. Finish is a very herbal and floral hop with a big soft carbonation that refreshes. A little palate cleansing tartness is present after the swallow. Pretty much an all around stellar saison.

Bottle courtesy of Jow, shared with friends in Rome. Many thanks Jow. Pours cloudy orange, gassy cap. Nose is yeast, tons of lime, citric, some hay. Gassy in the mouth, some citric astringency, zest predominantly characterizes this beer. Decent.
