Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of funk, citrus, hops, light earth and some spices. The finish was on the dry side.

Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle, lots of lacing. Fruity, soapy aroma, flavor similar with a hit of honey malt. A little unbalanced in terms of the bittersweetness. Good beer though.

Bottle: Cloudy, orange/amber with a tight, off-white head. Grapefruit, tangerine, light yeast aroma. Taste is tangerine and peels...sweet, yeast. Very pleasant funky-bittering. A little peppery and oily. Nicely hoppy, a big, rich saison. Good stuff.

Bottle at home and an impressive bottle to boot, smutty been kicking ass lately with bottle design amd brews too. Hazes orange beer with pretty one finger head. Nose is fruity yeast amd some hopping. Tastes of hops upfront but then yeast dominated. Fruity tones of oranges, and limes. light spicing. Quite good another fun one.

Marshmallow peeps, lemon zest, aroma, pleasant Belgian phenolics. Crystal clear deep amber, thick sticky head. Lemon zest, clementines, strong dried apricot. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Not hoppy at all, but whatever yeast strain they used, I love it. Lots of fun fruitiness.

650 ml bottle purchased at Craft Beer Cellar. Color is a orange/ gold with thin lasting head. Aromas are spicy yeast, ripe fruit, and mild pine or citrus hops.

The flavor shows the hops first twitch the spicy yeast coming in the back. Bitterness is much greater then it would be in a traditions saison. After this style is really damn loose anyhow. Bitterness is lengthy and runs bone dry. The body is medium with bready chewy texture. Well, this brew is exactly as the brewer describes so that counts for something.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 5/2015. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, light pine, wheat, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, light pine, wheat, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, light pine, wheat, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/hop balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Light-moderate dryness as well. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome hoppy saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pours dark amber into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Banana and clove aromas. Thick with sweet caramel and earthy spice upfront turning warm and dry in the medium length finish.
