Named after one of our furry friends, the Aberdeen Terrier, Aberdeen Scotch Ale is a full bodied Ale with a very creamy mouth feel. It is packed full of flavors that range from dried fruits and caramel, to a light biscuit undertones. With all those flavors coming through, this beer definitely doesn’t let you forget that it is in fact a very malt forward beer- balanced and not overwhelming.

On tap at Pinellas Ale Works, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is very syrupy, with lots of sweet caramel and sugars. Flavour has toasted caramel, bready malt, and sugars. Totally unrefined and lacking elegance, but it’s inoffensive; just little depth or refinement. Meh.
