Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is grains, some herbal, sweet malty and mild yeasty tones. Flavour is toasted, some dried fruits, mild sweet malts with some slight yeasty and wooden tones.

Draught @ Ricklinger Landbrauerei shared with kermis. Clear amber color, medium sized creamy off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, slightly caramel, lightly brown sugar. Decent body, smooth mouthfeel. Quite nice.

Draft at the brewpub. Near clear amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, light dough and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [21-08-2016]

0,5 flaske (ferskvare igjen - bb. 220815 - vi rekker tidsfristen!), hjemført av Willy og delt med ham på brygga: brunlig ravfarge med kort skum. Blomster, nøtter, honning og karamell i aroma og smak. Vi skåler igjen og igjen, godt fornøyde i solvarmen på årets fineste sommerkveld!

Bottle from the brewpub. Hazy brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light grainy and light nutty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 140315

12th Dec 2014: on tap in Galopper des Jahres, Hamburg. Poured a murky dark brown with a full tanned head. Aroma of semi-sweet maltiness with both woody and nutty notes along with a mini-sour trace. The taste aldo led by the malts, again semi-sweet with a mild wood and nutty flavour, hints of chocolate, still a sourness in the brew, even though the finish was sweet rather than dry and bitter like some beers in this style. Decent body depth and overall a fine beer.

On tap at Barley & Malt, Hamburg. Cloudy ruby brown color with medium creamy light brown head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, burnt sugar, pumpkin seed and nuts. Tastes of sweet caramel, nuts and honey with medium bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Strung nutty sweetness bothers me...
