Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are butter, malt, hops and lactose acid. Brew must have gone wrong.

50cl bottle @ Brewery. Thanks buddy. Pours slight unclear golden with a reddish hew and a small creamy head. Nose is sweet. A bit of butter and grain. Reminds me of a Bohemian pils. Very inviting. Floral hoppy and caramel. Extremely soft and smooth bodied. Tasty.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy orange with a minimal white head. Light butterish and malty aroma. Flavour is sweet malty, subdued butter note and with a light bitterness. Finish gradually gives away a more solid bitterness and medium dryness. Light acidic and fruity touch into the finish.

bottle, traded with jeverszeuge. Hazy golden yellow, large white head. Full-bodied, malty with lots of aromatic hops. Quite hoppy for a Märzen, but in a very pleasant way. Hints of spices and herbs and a shy touch of honey is also detectable.

Cloudy golden with a big white head. Grain, hay and yoghurt nose. Acid and grain flavour. Third flawed beer in a sampler six pack of Ricklinger. That’s just not good enough.

Bottled. Hazy bronze coour, rich firm head. Caramelly nose. Sweet and soft with medium body. Pleasant buttery caramelly malt flavour toppedby some grassy, spicy hops. Low-medium bitterness. Mild, yet flavourful. Top märzen!

Mild süßlich-malziger Antrunk, sehr spritzig. Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden coloured, a bit hazy; smaller, but rather stable off-white head; distinctive sweetish-grainy nose with a touch of mash or wort; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, light to medium-bodied; first sweetish-malty-worty finish, followed by a light, but distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. Far above the average of most of the "new" german micros...

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a nice, dense and lasting, off-white head. Some light caramel in the nose and a whiff of yeast and tartness. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel malt and a discreet acidity. Smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. Courtesy of Elisabeth. 150207
