It is a really good stout, powerful aroma of sweet coffee, toffee, vanilla, roasted malt, long taste into the palate, 27.10.17.

Goryczka wyczuwalna kawowa ale nie jakaś duża Nagazowanie średnio niskie, ciało średnie, jest bardzo gładkie oleiste, alkohol nie wyczuwalny, finisz kawy Ogólnie piwo to pije się jak jakąś kawę a nie piwo można kogoś nabrać co przy tym woltażu jest ciekawym doświadczeniem

Pours a black colour with a small brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel toffee, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, liquorice, bit of smoke. Falvour is malty, coffee, light sweetness. Alcohol is surprisingly well-hidden. Another winner from De Molen.

Old note. Bottle 33 cl. Almost black color, fine brownish foam. Aroma: powerful, coffee-chocolate, sweetish? a light smoke and brandy. Taste: wine, coffee with cognac, chocolate, dried fruits, cake, very good brew.

Bottle from Deconinck. Cloudy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of pure mocha, coffee roast, fondant, toast, toasted chestnut, chicory, tobacco, prune. Taste has sweet mocha, prune & fig, some chestnut & peanut in a brown-bready body. Creamy edge. Bitter toast & roasted coffee becoming dominant, well into the earthy hoppy finish with earthy chicory, toast & cold coffee. Alcohol hinting at Irish whisky remains subtle. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Just a very strong cup of coffee in the end.

Bottle at home in Hackney - can't remember where I got it but think it was at De Molen. Label has 2011 on it but ABV suggests this is the correct entry. Pours deep black-brown with a big, frothy beige head. Medium sweet with notes of milk chocolate, soft roast, lightly roasted dark malts, mild earthy bitterness, background coffee. Medium bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Mildly warming finish with a bit of ashy roast, raisins, bitter black coffee, baking cocoa. Pretty nice overall.

33 cl bottle @ home (bottled 29 Nov. 2018, 10%). Black colour. Mocha coloured head with some retention. Aroma’s: mild coffee, roasty, dark chocolate, light coffee sour (or red fruit). Retronasal: roasted, coffee grind, light coffee sourness. light sweet. Flavour is moderate sweet, light moderate roasted bitter, chocolatey. Above medium bodied. Long finish with some roast, light moderate bitter.
