Bottle. Nose is chocolate, coffee, toffee, orange. Palate is watery chocolate, bread, toast, bitter orange finish. Didn't age great, but still drinkable.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Black body with no head or lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate and fruit pudding. Flavour of fig and chocolate. Thin body with a flat, watery texture. Not Alechemy’s finest effort - it’s thinner than water and tastes pretty one dimensional.

Bottle from Alesela. It pours black with a small beige head. The aroma is quite sweet, milk chocolate, caramel, mars bar and some coffee. The taste is bitter, roasted malt, earthy, charred wood, chewy, peppery spice, wood, coffee ground and cacao with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit lacklustre overall.

Cask, one-third pint at Six Degrees North. Coal black body. Dotted spots on the glass from a fading fawn-coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, semi-dry. Taste of dark dough, lactose and chocolate. Sweet and dry ending. Soft in the mouth. Medium bodied. Just alright, rather sweet though (Aberdeen 19.04.2016).
