A dark brown ipa with a thick frothy brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light coffee grind, musty character, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and pleasant, well done. Bottle at El Gourmand, Oaxaca.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown with a creamy/foamy dark tan head. Aroma seems a mix of resin and fruit, with a somewhat burnt malt backbone. Seems full bodied. Flavor is dark chocolate, malt and arguably resin hop. Might be a coffee touch. No skimping on ingredients here. Finishing malty but towards dry and bitter. Nice stuff. Could be one of the better Black IPAs around.

Dark brown with a big rocky head. Aroma is citrus, woody, toast... black IPA. Sweet up front with slightly chocolatey notes, then it gets bitter, woody with hop. Good balance. I like it.
