Dark amber, creamy lasting head. Dry fruits in aroma with lot sweetness. It continues in taste. Well hidden alcohol. High carbonation, moderate body. Nice beer to enjoy. Well balanced.

La Trappe macht einfach großartige Biere. Auch das hier ist trotz seiner 10% gefährlich gut trinkbar, dabei cremig, malzig, Holzfass, erdig, Rosinen, Cognac, lecker.

Bottle from Gnome and Away, Chester. Cloves and other spices are the mainstay in the aroma. Pours a vivid reddish copper with an extremely large, but transient, off-white head. Spices again dominate in the mouth, with almonds bananas and barley sugar in an oily texture. The sweet fruitiness is concentrated in the finish - and there is a warming glow in your cheeks ! It’s very nice – but somehow I had expected more ?
