Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Biscuity malts, a touch of citrus fruit, caramel sweetness and a decent, bitter, finish. Fine.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Deep gold with a light sparkle but virtually no head. A little lemon, then grassy herbal notes with a spicy kick in the crisp finish. Not bad.

Handpull cask at the Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Light gold with a small and slightly loose white head. Scent of honey, oats, brown sugar, light spice, citrus. Maybe a ’breakfast golden’? Taste is sweet, slightly malty with a gentle balancing bitterness. Light body, nice carbonation. Pleasant and certainly well-made.

Cask @ Manchester & County, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Well balanced and fuller-bodied. There’s a crispness to its lightly malty-sweet taste.
