Danish: Usandsynlig tyktflydende, forførende mørk og smoking good.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, peated malt, humle, gær.
English Language Label: Amazingly rich, seductively dark and smoking good. Yes a real heartbreaker. We recommend only the truly skillful, heavyweight beer champions to battle this awfully addictive and overpowering smoked Stout. Be careful because this is the real deal with a minor Placebo effect. Makes invalids out of supermen.

33cl bottle @ home. Poured almost black, thick, everlasting brown head. Had to wait 5 minutes for the head to settle a little. Aroma has peat, smoke, coffee beans. Flavor has peat, sweet coffee, smoke and roasted malt. Finish is dry with some ash and very dark chocolate. Very oily, sticky mouthfeel. Intense smoke/ peat, maybe too much.

Bottle. Pitch black beer with a very strong foamy dark brown head. The aroma is quite bitter and roasted, and the flavour is more so roasted and bitter with a fortified malty’ness. Overall a nice strongly flavoured roasted and bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Fermentoren. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of smoke, dark chocolate, burnt malts, coffee and a little dark fruit. Flavour is fairly heavy sweet and bitter, with an oily mouthfeel, full body and soft carbonation.

33 cl bottle @ City Beer Store and Tasting Room, BBE 2015
Aroma has ash(!), licorice and some coffee. Flavour has salty licorice, coffee, some ash and soy sauce. Rather thick palate. Good, but drinking big amounts of this would be a challenge.

Keg at CP&K. It pours black, with a thin tan head. The nose is roasted malt, charcoal, wood, ash, smoke and some dark fruit. The taste is dark fruit (raisin, plum and grape), alcohol warmth, ash, roasted malt, charcoal and vinous notes, with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Flavoursome and well balanced. Rather drinkable.

0.33l bottle from myBrewerytap. This one pours a near black - or should we just call it black? Yeah, let's do that. It's a black one with a enormous and everlasting creamy chocolate head. Looks quite nice. Not extreme-smoky in the aroma, but more subtle-smoky. Still the smoke is definitely present! Tones of both chocolate and leather as well. Milk chocolate actually. When tasting it, the smoky ashy tones really makes it's way in the flavor. It's almost like a stingy-cigar, quite warming with lots of licorice. Quite interesting and tasty with a soft, silky almost cloying texture. Not because it's to sweet, but it just got a bit much in the end. Actually struggled towards the finish with this one. Reminds me a bit of my experience with Mikkeller - Black Hole - just with lots and lots of that stingy cigar. 27.01.2012

Bottle. Pours black with a dark brown with that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a light amount of smoke with roasted malt, dark grains and a bit of tart red fruit. Flavor starts with roasted malts and a bit of smoke that is over taken by a sour red fruit note. Seems infected.

Binny’s LP 330ml ($7.50): Pours a black color with a brownish head. Aroma is a smoky type jawn. Slight booze in the aroma too. Taste is not particularly complex. Mostly just smoky, with a hefty dosage of roasted malts. Some chocolate. I was kind of expecting something off with this beer, but it actually drinks pretty well. Kind of sweet though. Good, but not great. Still pretty interesting.
