A MOSAIC-HOPPED ALE BREWED WITH MANGO
The flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing. So, what's at the heart of it? Is it the patient and diligent servant or the committed messenger, through their many routes and vessels? The salient soldier, slinging suds on the front lines daily, or the very brewers themselves? The answer is... we can't tell you here. From seed to sprout to fruit, and back to seed, we're all tangled on the same vine. And while fruit is momentary, the roots hold on for another season. It's all just a matter of perspective...

Sampled on draft at Gateway Grill this beer poured a dark golden color with a large fluffy orange white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with tangerine, pine and Pez. The flavor was tangy and sweet with tangerine, black pepper, pine, earthiness and Pez. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a golden-orange color with a medium sized soapy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with notes of cracker, pine and cactus. The flavor was sweet and tangy with cactus, catbox and pine. Medium length finish. Moderately full body. Ok.

22oz bomber pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up pungent tangy mango, like no other, as well as floral hop notes, strawberry and some muted watermelon. Nice. The taste delivers tangy tropical and funky guava nuanced mango fruitiness flowing into thinner notes of strawberry, floral hops and watermelon. As usual. Nice brew.

Pours straw into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Mango puree aromas. Dirty mango skin and pith upfront turning to lemon joy before the lasting pith finish.

Draught @ 4th Ave Pub. Clear golden with very small foamy whitish head, mandarin aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter mandarin peel flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Quite flavorful.

On tap at Macs. Pours a clear yellow with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet mango with a touch of bitter and earthy citrus with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor is full of mango and earthy tropical fruit with a bit onion and sweet grain backing.

Man goes all right, no question about that. Hops come through a little bit and there's some lingering bitter in the Finish. Plenty of sweet in there too I would say a little more bitter than sweet.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Tropical fruit and light grapefruit aroma. Tropical fruit and light earthy flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and light earth linger with light grapefruit.
