Belgian Style - Quadrupel / Dark Strong Rotating|

Bold & rich, this enveloping quad builds its force and character through interlacing layers of flavor. Its deep complexity begins with a molasses sweetness with notes of dark fruits like raisins and figs but develops further with an undercurrent of tart spice from its distinctive Belgian yeast for a truly transfixing brew.

Growler (?) at CBJ Tasting. Opaque dark toffee brown. Lacks head. Aroma has burnt caramel and fermented fruit. Flavourwise it has dark sweet fruit with a tangy edge. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Leighton for the panda. Clear brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light caramel toffee malts, thin cream. Mellow ripe fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Pleasant if a tad dry.

Good stuff. Only mellow signs of age. Lovely fruity character, berries, raisins, a little toffee, bread, fruitcake. Mellow booze. Rather drinkable. Nicely balanced and malty.

Bottle split at Craft Beer Junction, thanks to Leighton, 12/11/2025.
Murky mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that veers to the edge over time.
Nose is fruit rinds, toffee, herb, dark malts.
Taste comprises dried fruit esters, toffee, brown bread, touch of oxidisation creeping in.
Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay.

Bottle. Gift from my brother. Even though it wasn’t bad, there are better quads out there. Medium, red color with a medium head. A lot of fruity aroma. Taste is dried fruit with a tad too much sweetness.

750ml bottle, part of the three bottle gift pack in the lcbo. Ruby, dark brown pour, small off white head. Aroma is booze soaked raisins, yeast, minerals, and some light metal. Carb is quite high, mouth feel is very active. Finish is low on bitterness, sweet, boozy malts, with more raisins and some apples. Nothing too special.
